Tues and Wed, dis-a-ppear-ed, Thurs is somewhat blurred

Time flies when you're having fun I must say! I was a week behind on my good old iCal(my beautious paper cal from my pal Laura G) and didn't realize it's what!? Almost February, what!? Holy crap! Work has been IN-sane. Tons of projects coming in, new clients and old, everybody is back in action. I'm not used to working full days after the past few months had been so slow, but hey, I'm not complaining! SO stoked. And so grateful. I was thinking yesterday, I have the best job in the world, I get to do what I love all day, from my home, with my honey and my pets, ahhh life is sweet.... 

So anyway, behind the scenes, I've been secretly stitching away on a sporting events project, if you can call crafting a sport, I for one do, the PlushYou Olympic Challenge. I don't do sport sports, yawn, but crafting, bring it on! I'm a member of the Ski Team, and have been working away on my entry, wanna see? (Warning, naked bunbuns....)

Well, it's a start, this is 3 afternoons worth of working an hour at a time after work. Figuring out the pattern, if you can call it that, more like make it up as you go, and I just finished making the feet and arms today. I am sooo diggin' it so far! She's going to be an après ski bunny, she doesn't participate in sports either, she'd rather sit in the lodge and watch from the comfort of her overstuffed chair, sipping a carrot 'tini.  You can see my working sketch and ideas on the page beside my stuffie. You know me, I always have to do everything the most most intricate and complicated way. This is how I roll. Up next, I am going to be painting her and getting her personality going, then, knitting some mittens and a sweater for her. Perhaps some of those coveted red mittens everybody is scrambling to get before the big games begin? And a few other important bunny bun embellishments. She has to be done at latest by Feb.24, so I have lots of time.

My paintbox quilt is waiting patiently for more squares, my Radiant Goddess course, I haven't even started yet except for watch the first video, and my ATC was received for the swap I'm in. Also, had a few more Etsy sales which is awesome!! Unfortunately, my dandelion painting to raise fund to donate to the Haiti relief fund didn't sell on Ebay. I might put it up on Etsy at some point soon. But that's ok, I made a donation to the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Relief fund today anyways.

And now, Norm has a crockpot of bbq pork yumyum nomnom almost ready for dinner, time to go!
