When you’re happy and you know it…

Clean your art room! This is a "before" shot. I cleaned, tidied, moved piles from one table to the other, moved them back, and put away a few things, though you would never know it now. It looks pretty much like this again. But I got some stuff done this weekend: framed some pics, finished my "inspiration" corkboard(just have to hang it up), started another pillow top, finished a small quilted piece, and sorted my beads and sequins. Also researched into some Christmas ideas for something I'm working on. (before and after art room looks rather similar now!) Play with puppies! Yesterday Denise brought her sweet lil pup over to play with Starry and they had fun chasing each other and playing ball and with all the puppy toys. They wiped each other out that is for sure! I hope they can get together often to play play play, it's quite fun to watch them!! Enjoy yourself! I spent today outside reading, painting, playing in the garden (we do our morning and evening "inspections" to see how all the plants are doing). The bamboo is starting to take off like mad in the warm sunny weather. One of them in particular has grown about 3 feet over a week and a half-ish, usually by several inches a day! How crazy! Keep growing little bamboos! I finished Eat Pray Love, I love that book! I want to read it again. Next up is to finish the Marie Antoinette bio I started reading on our trip to the Dominican how many years ago as it now...? Today I got the new Rachel Ray mag with tons of yummy summery recipes including one for homemade pesto, which we are going to try out with our basil plants my mum gave us, including a funky purple basil. Yum! Go to Costco! Or shopping! Yay Costco! It's become a weekend ritual now. We talked to furnace salespeople there about getting a new one to replace the old on it's last legs dustblower we have now. Then we stopped at Michaels to get me some fabric paint medium for my pillowtops then Future Shop for an Apple wireless router thingamedoodle. We're switching internet/telephone/tv service so needed one to work with their system better. I am soo out of touch with technology these days. Sigh.... (I don't even know how to text. I never use my cel phone anyway, and am considering getting rid of it. ) Thank goodness Norm knows how all this stuff works! And now am wishing for one more weekend day to get my own projects done. But that's ok! Lots of exciting work projects on the go as well. I can't complain! Hope you had a nice weekend! (btw there's something odd going on with my b-log formatting at the moment, Norm is investigating! Will be fixed soon!)

I love to play!

 

So yeah! Today in medical news, my dr called this morning saying the levels of whatever it is they are checking are back below normal again which means increased meds to 12.5 mg or whatever it is, 5 tablets, of Warfarin and another blood test next week instead of the following week. I hope at least that maybe this will put me on a more urgent list for the specialist appointment- date still to be determined.

Also today we got confirmation that we are designing and building a blog for India.Arie! How flippin' cool is that! Sooooo exciting! Starting concepts asap. She's on tour right now so it's in very beginning phases but getting started nonetheless. Exciting!!!
